Stepan Partamian


STEPAN PARTAMIAN is a publisher, documentarian, and talk-show host that promotes artistic excellence in several disciplines. He is the founder of the Armenian Arts Fund, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that promotes artistic excellence in several disciplines. Some of the Armenian Arts Funds’ past accomplishments include a landmark recording of Komitas Vardapet’s Divine Liturgy, performed entirely on duduks by the Winds of Passion Quartet; the first-ever Armenian program for the KCRW World Festival at the Hollywood Bowl; the concert Armenia Unbound: A Musical Journey at the J. Paul Getty Museum; and an unprecedented night of music, Spirit of Armenia, at the 2007 KCRW World Festival, commissioned by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association. Partamian is also a talk-show host, renowned for helping shape public discourse in Los Angeles and beyond through his politically incorrect commentaries and analyses of current affairs. His Yes, We Have series of books, in English and Armenian, document the contributions of Armenians to American civilization. In 2012, he released The Armenian in America, a book of photos and texts documenting landmarks pertaining to Armenian identity and culture throughout the United States. On April 24, 2014, he released am unprecedented Free PARTAM app for IOS & Android, a Travel Guide to every Armenian destination under the sun. On January 1, 2015: he introduced the First American Armenian Rose Float participation in the 126 Tournament of Roses. Stepan is currently working on the project, Genolive, a video documentary on Armenians who have contributed their talents to humanity following the failed attempt of the Genocide.
