The stories of this book are about the author, his mother and father, his sisters, in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins. They are about Providence and Rehoboth and the people who lived there in the 1920s and 1930s.

The author’s Grandfather Jimmy, the poorest farmer in Connecticut, is in these stories, along with his Grandfather Baba, Zakar Danielian, the Agha of the Providence Armenian community.

Here are stories of Armenian customs in the late 20’s and during the Depression years, and of growing up as an Armenian-American boy in those times.
