This book-album presents a selection from the collection of weapons of the 18th-20th centuries of the History Museum of Armenia. The aim of the work is to familiarize the reader with the history of weapons and weaponsmithing of the period, including Armenian weaponsmithing. It is unique in its nature and is the first research on this topic in Armenia. The book-album is intended for those interested in the history of weapons and weaponsmithing, as well as for a wide range of readers.

Սույն գիրք-ալբոմում ներկայացված է ընտրանի Հայաստանի պատմության թանգարանի` 18-20-րդ դարերով թվագրվող զենքի հավաքածուից։ Աշխատանքի նպատակն է ընթերցողին ծանոթացնել տվյալ ժամանակաշրջանի զենքի և զինագործության, այդ թվում` հայ զինագործության պատմությանը։ Այն եզակի է իր բնույթով և առաջինը Հայաստանում՝ թեմայի ուսումնասիրության առումով։ Գիրք-ալբոմը նախատեսված է զենքի և զինագործության պատմությամբ հետաքրքրվողների, ինչպես նաև ընթերցող լայն շրջանակների համար։
