Archbishop Torgom Koushagian, a former student of the famous Armash Seminary and later Patriarch of Jerusalem (1931-1939), one of our greatest spiritual writers, composed these meditations first in the form of a series of short articles. He is well know for his masterly use of the Armenian language and for his penetrating insight in descerning and identifying colorful nuances of thought that are expressed by him in such condensed forms of speech that are not so common.
