A historical fantasy fiction set in Bronze Age Armenia, with reimagined borders and quite a bit of author's liberties taken, the story takes the reader on a journey through the creation and subsequent trials faced by the nation of Hayara and its royal family. Weaving in legends and mythology as the characters grow and find themselves, the story has a little bit of everything. From the wars to the romance, the family conflicts to the philosophies on life and death and the gods themselves, those who have read it have had a hard time putting it down. One just described it to me as something out of "The Princess Bride" fantasy.
