The Let's Speak Armenian instructional resource was developed by the Armenian Studies program of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern) to help adult learners acquire basic speaking skills in Armenian. By teaching the rudimentary patterns of conversational Armenian, this publication provides the foundation upon which the student can progressively build his/her verbal aptitudes. Let's Speak Armenian includes over 1,000 functional and fully worked, everyday phrases commonly used in typical conversation. The publication can be used individually and/or in a classroom setting. The English entries are translated to Armenian and the phonological transliteration helps the learner's pronunciation. The key is provided at the end of the phrasebook. As an integrated, user-friendly workbook intended for a diverse range of learners, Let's Speak Armenian is conveniently divided into thematic modules with exercises to reinforce learning. In addition, this content-based guide provides helpful insight and cultural awareness into the Armenian ethos.
