History on the Move is a collection of Edmond Y. Azadian's English-language essays and articles written on a range of Armenian issues over the last forty years. Azadian, a journalist and important figure in the Armenian national consciousness, was born in Lebanon, was editor of the Armenian daily Zartonk and several other Middle Eastern newspapers, and served as a commentator on Armenian and international issues. Azadian served as Chairman of the Armenian General Benevolent Union's Alex and Marie Manoogian Cultural Fund in America for twenty-four years, and is currently a member of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Organization, and several other Armenian social, cultural, and political organizations.
