Garnik Galstian


Garnik Galstian, an Armenian poet, has been writing since his childhood days in Yerevan, Armenia. Upon graduation from the Yerevan State Univesity, Galstian has published many articles and essays on Armenian Literature of the 20th century while working at the Institute of Literature of the Armenian Academy of Sciences. His works have been published in numerous newspapers and magazines in Armenia and in the United States. Ever since his move to Los Angeles in 1979, he has taught at Armenian schools and at American Armenian International College of La Verne. His works include a study of Barouyr Sevag's literature, a collection of poems, "Jhamatrutiun Ashkharhi Het," as well as a textbook on the Armenian language.
