Areen Armenian

Areen Armenian was born in Bahrein on April 13, 1978, and begun writing when she was eight. She started her primary education in Beirut at the Jemaran Armenian School. She moved to Baltimore with her family in 1986. Areen was presented with the "Outstanding Student" achievement award at the Ridgely Middle School. Diagnosed with leukemia in 1988, she died of its complications on October 11, 1993.
