Thomas de Waal

THOMAS DE WAAL is a writer and scholar on the Caucasus and Black Sea region and currently Senior Associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.  His the author of three books, including The Caucasus: An Introduction.  Previously, de Waal worked as a newspaper and radio journalist in London and Moscow.
