Description
Arus graduated from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory and a post-graduate course in the class of Professor Rosa Tandilyan. Since 1996 she started her impressive competitions, festivals and concerts activity. In 1998 she got the 1st prize at the “Talented Young Musicians” competition in Armenia. In 1999 she was awarded the “Best Performer” diploma at the International Symposium of Pianists dedicated to Frederic Chopin in the USA. In 2000 Arus was awarded the 1st and special prizes at the Arno Babadjanyan 3rd Republic Competition of Young Pianists. She appeared in concerts internationally as a soloist and with major chamber and symphony orchestras, among them: “Moscow Virtuosi” under Vladimir Spivakov, Murfreesboro Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under Dr. Laurence Harvin, Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Los Angeles Symphonic Orchestra under baton of Mikael Avetisyan. The most impressive tour she made in 2003 appearing in South America with the State Academic Chamber Orchestra of Russia under baton of Constantine Orbelian Jr. (Montevideo, Porto Allegri, Sao Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, Ribeiro Preto). In 2007 within the Days of Armenia she appeared in China with several appearances. Ms. Adjemian took valuable master-classes from Daniel Pollack, Nikolay Petrov, Galina Cherni-Stepanska, Mikhail Voskressensky, Nikita Yuzhanin, Oksana Yablonskaya, Menahem Presler and Nina Svetlanova. Her wide repertoire includes works by Armenian, European, Russian and Soviet composers.
