The translation of the Divine Liturgy into modern English and modern Western Armenian, along with the classical Armenian text and phonetic English transliteration, combined with its easy-to-follow layout, clear rubrics and instructional commentary, will facilitate the participation of the faithful in the celebtration of the Holy Badarak. The Divine Liturgy is the most sacred Sacrament of the Armenian Church. In it we will relive the life of our Lord Jesus Christ, his death on the cross, and his glorious resurrection. Our participation in the Divine Liturgy is our participation in the forgiveness of sins and eternal life that he freely offered to all who receive him in faith.
According to the canons and traditions of our holy fathers and translated into English and Modern Western Armenian by the servant of Christ and Priest of the church Arshen Aivazian.
This book was printed in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. in A.D. 2005 and Armenian calendar year 1454 during the Pontificate of His Holiness Karekin II Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and is dedicated to the 1600th Anniversary of the invention of the Armenian Alphabet and the translation of the Holy Scriptures into Armenian.
