What makes this book unique is that she selected biblical verses, gave them her own explanations and tied them to the recipes. Her motivation to write such a book was not only to make the preparers of food aware of some delicious and sometime exotic dishes, but also to encourage them to read the biblical verses and maybe, as a follow up through, read more of the Bible. Some recipes are easy and quick, others need to be explored. They are all healthy and nutritious meals. The recipes in the Heavenly Delightful Cookbook are not necessarily "Original" but they are her own variations of mostly Armenian and Middle Eastern cuisine.
