This is the first small album devoted to Arshile Gorky (Vostanik Adoyan) printed in Armenia. Through its pages the reader will get acquainted with the artistic career of this artist who was greatly acclaimed in the USA and reached distinctive originality during the last years of his life. Part of the slides of presented paintings has been acquired from American museums and private collections, while the others have been reproduced from high-quality cataloques of Gorky's various exhibitions. They have contributed to establish the titles and sizes of unknown works, for which we express our deep gratitude.
